Chimney Rock Pioneer Days

Chimney Rock Pioneer Days is Bayard’s annual celebration, with roots dating back to the 1940’s. Each September, the citizens of Bayard and the surrounding community have gathered each fall to celebrate our pioneer heritage. Each year’s events include two street dances, live entertainment, parade, pancake feed, food and craft vendors, movie in the park, beer garden, and various children’s activities. Additionally, many alumni of Bayard High School utilize this weekend for their class reunions, lending hometown flavor to the event. This year also ties in homecoming for Bayard High School, which will take place Friday September 8, 2017.
