Salute to Baseball in Nebraska

The Omaha Storm Chasers want to have a “Salute to Baseball in Nebraska” night. We would center everything about the night around baseball throughout the years in our great state. We plan on having the NE Baseball Hall of Fame at Werner Park and inviting some of the baseball teams that won high school championships in the 1980s. We will honor some of the Nebraska baseball “Old Timers” before the game. We will also be extending an invitation to dignitaries in Omaha and our surrounding areas. During the baseball game we will alter our in-game promotions in order to have them embody the spirit of Nebraska. Things like a race to see who can shuck the most corn in :45 seconds and Nebraska trivia.
