Theme for our annual lunch meeting, workshops and awards banquet is “Happy 150th Birthday, Nebraska! Confirmed presenters are
Todd Williams, painter of the NE Legacy project, who will share his art as well as his part in celebrating NE’s 150th. He hopefully will be able to present at area schools on his trip as well. This is Mr. Williams first presentation in 2017 for the 150th celebration.
Alex Duryea, staff member of NE Tourism Commission. SJSB community, Broken Bow will host the annua Agri-Eco Tourism Conf. Feb 21-23. The SJSB are volunteers only, except for office work contracted through the Sandhills RC&D in Mullen. This is a rare state wide conf. that is not on I-80 or U.S. 30, so he will discuss that and other activities for our state.
We are also hoping to have NE Heart Art artists talk about that 150th event project.
